Our certified nutritionists and mindful eating instructors will teach you how to create simple, personalized nutritional weight loss meal plans that cater to your specific needs, how to discover suitable foods in your daily life, and how to use mindful eating to reduce problems like binge eating and other forms of disordered eating. We aim to provide sustainable weight loss methods that prioritize your well-being over restrictive diets, helping you break free from the cycle of bulimia and unhealthy eating patterns.

Mindful eating is about paying full attention to your food and body signals, fostering a healthier relationship with eating. It helps prevent issues like binge eating and promotes sustainable weight loss. It combines Inner Wisdom (listening to your body's hunger and fullness cues) with Outer Wisdom (understanding nutritional science). This dual approach helps you create effective, enjoyable, and flexible meal plans, moving beyond rigid diets and breaking free from unhealthy eating patterns like bulimia.

Why Do Binge Eating, Bulimia, and Unhealthy Weight Loss Methods Occur?

Societal beauty standards often lead to self-blame and the adoption of unhealthy weight loss methods. When individuals restrict their eating, it can trigger primal responses, leading to episodes of binge eating. These binges are frequently followed by intense guilt and compensatory behaviors, such as purging or excessive exercise, which are characteristic of bulimia. This creates a destructive cycle where restriction fuels bingeing, and bingeing intensifies self-blame and further restriction, perpetuating an unhealthy relationship with food and body.
Our approach recognizes that binge eating, bulimia, and the reliance on unhealthy weight loss methods are not simply failures of willpower. Instead, they are complex responses to underlying psychological, emotional, and societal pressures. By understanding these root causes, including the impact of unrealistic beauty ideals and the damaging effects of self-blame, we can begin to dismantle these harmful patterns. TEAM AT IYASHI
Iyashi Mindful Eating and Nutrition School was cofounded by two individuals that work in the mental healthy industry that are passionate in culinary arts. With the prior experience of harsh dieting, counting calories in every meal, poor mental health and emotional eating, we believe that building a healthy relationship between body and food by mindful eating and mindful cooking is the ultimate way to nourish our body physically and mentally.
